ABOUT
Our Teen Lyrical Jazz class is for students in Grades 7 - 12 at Pacific Academy for the 2024/2025 school year. Students will learn foundational jazz technique and increase their overall fitness and flexibility while also learning how to dance fluidly and with emotion. High school students who volunteer with younger classes are encouraged to take this class.

LOCATION
Drop off and pick up will be in the cafeteria. As these students are older, they do not need to have a parent sign them out from class to leave at the end.
Instructors will meet students in the cafeteria and escort them to and from their class location.
DATES
Wednesday, September 11th, 2024 to Wednesday, June 18th, 2025
Time: 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Please note, classes follow the school calendar, so there will be no classes on days that school is not in session.

ATTIRE
Students should wear a bodysuit or t-shirt with shorts or leggings, form-fitting stretchy clothing, and hair pulled back off the face. Students should arrive at their class in the appropriate dance attire.
FOOTWEAR
Required footwear for jazz tech is black jazz shoes or foot undies.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Students should come with a full water bottle.
To celebrate student learning and work throughout the year, students will be invited to participate in a year-end performance. A dress rehearsal will be held in the week leading up to the performance. More details will be given closer to the date.
REGISTRATION
Registration opens June 25, 2024 at 8:00 AM and closes on August 30, 2024 at 12:00 PM, or after the program is full. A waitlist is available at no cost.
