Inter Competitive Lyrical

ABOUT
Our Inter Competitive Lyrical class is for students enrolled in Grades 3 - 12 at Pacific Academy for the 2025/2026 school year. Lyrical combines elements of ballet and jazz steps and teaches students how to dance with emotion. A Competitive class means that students are interested in training more seriously and are wanting to take their dancing to the next level. Students will learn a routine and perform at one or two local competitions in the Spring of 2026. This class is by invitation only. Students are welcome to contact us at [email protected] to audition if they are interested. Students must take Open Ballet Tech, Open Jazz Tech, and one additional dance class of their choice alongside this class.

LOCATION
Drop off and pick up will be in the cafeteria.
Instructors will escort students to and from their class location.

Tuesday, September 9th, 2025 to Tuesday, June 16th, 2026
Time: 6:15 PM - 7:15 PM
Please note, classes follow the school calendar, so there will be no classes on days that school is not in session.

COST
Total Program Cost: $463
Costume Deposit: $70

ATTIRE
Students should wear a bodysuit or t-shirt with shorts or leggings, form-fitting stretchy clothing, and hair pulled back off the face.

FOOTWEAR
Required footwear for Lyrical is foot undies.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please send your child with a full water bottle.
To celebrate student learning and work throughout the year, students will be invited to participate in a year-end performance. A dress rehearsal will be held in the week before the performance. More details will be given closer to the date.

REGISTRATION
Registration opens May 1, 2025 at 8:00 AM and closes on October 5, 2025 at 11:55 PM or once the program is full. A waitlist is available at no cost.
