Intermediate Strings Ensemble

ABOUT
Intermediate Strings Ensemble is for students playing the viola, violin, or cello at Suzuki Volume 2 & 3 level. This class is for students enrolled in Grades 4 - 8 at Pacific Academy for the 2025/2026 school year.

LOCATION
Drop off and pick up will be in the cafeteria.
Instructors will escort students to and from their class location.

DATES
Thursday, September 11th, 2025 to Thursday, June 18th, 2026
Time: 3:15 PM - 4:15 PM*
*Despite the later start to this class, students should still come to the cafeteria immediately after school to sit, have a snack, and wait for their strings class to begin. 
Please note, classes follow the school calendar, so there will be no classes on days that school is not in session.

COST
Total Program Cost: $463

ATTIRE
Students will remain in their school uniform.

INSTRUMENT
Students are required to have their own string instrument.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Students will be given a small snack at the start of their program. Please ensure all allergies are listed and provide us with up-to-date information.
Rehearsals are weekly, and must be considered a priority.
Practicing at home is essential.
The instructor will provide all the music needed.
Families must provide instruments (renting from Long & McQuade is recommended).
There will be a minimum of two performance opportunities each year. More details to be given closer to the date.

REGISTRATION
Registration opens on May 1, 2025 at 8:00 AM and closes on October 5, 2025 at 11:55 PM or once the program is full. A waitlist is available at no cost.
