Junior Musical Theatre - Fridays

ABOUT
Our Junior Jazz class is for students enrolled in Junior Kindergarten 4 - Grade 2 at Pacific Academy for the 2025/2026 school year. The class is structured to help these young students learn teamwork and coordination as they participate in theatre games and choreography. Throughout the program, students will explore the fundamentals of jazz dance while also being introduced to the basics of singing and acting. Each week, students will build on their skills, growing in stage confidence and developing their performance abilities in a fun and supportive environment.

Time: 3:45 PM - 4:45 PM
Please note, classes follow the school calendar, so there will be no classes on days that school is not in session.

Total Program Cost: $463
Costume Deposit: $70

ATTIRE
Students should wear a bodysuit or t-shirt with shorts or leggings, form-fitting stretchy clothing. For children with long hair, please have this pulled back off the face.

FOOTWEAR
Required footwear for Musical Theatre is black jazz shoes.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
To celebrate student learning and work throughout the year, students will be invited to participate in a year-end performance. A dress rehearsal will be held in the week before the performance. More details will be given closer to the date.

REGISTRATION
Registration opens on May 1, 2025 at 8:00 AM and closes on October 5, 2025 at 11:55 PM or once the program is full. A waitlist is available at no cost.
