Math Makers

ABOUT
Math Makers is for students enrolled in Kindergarten - Grade 2 at Pacific Academy for the 2025/2026 school year. We believe math should make sense - not just on paper but in the real world. That's why we will focus on teaching it through visual, hands-on, and creative activities that bring numbers to life. While worksheets have their place, our students go beyond them - exploring math with visuals, tangible materials, and creative projects. Math makes more sense to young minds when it's something they can see, touch, and build. This program is designed to help children develop a strong, practical foundation in math. Whether your child is a visual learner, a hands-on thinker, warming up to math, or craves a challenge, this is where math becomes vlear, fun, and confidence-boosting! Give your child a math experience where curiosity leads and hands-on learning builds a real understanding. 

INSTRUCTOR

LOCATION
Students will be picked up by a staff member from their K-2 classroom after school and be brought to their class location.
Pick up will be at the cafeteria promptly when class finishes.

Wednesday, September 10th, 2025 to Wednesday, June 17th, 2026
Time: 2:45 PM - 4:15 PM
Please note, classes follow the school calendar, so there will be no classes on days that school is not in session.

COST
Total Program Cost: $694
Payment options: Cash, Cheque, or Credit Card
(All Credit Card payments will be subject to a 4% Convenience Fee)
Payment Due Dates:

• First half due upon registration
• Second half due October 15, 2025

Sibling Discounts and Multi-Program Discounts available for early registrations (before the program start date) only.

ATTIRE
Students will remain in their uniform for the duration of the program.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Children will be given a small snack at the start of their program. Please ensure all allergies are listed and provide us with up-to-date information.

REGISTRATION
Registration opens May 1, 2025 at 8:00 AM and closes on October 5th, 2025 at 11:55 PM. A waitlist is available at no cost.
