Open Ballet Tech

ABOUT
Our Open Ballet Tech class is for students in Grades 1 - 12 at Pacific Academy for the 2025/2026 school year. Students will learn foundational technique, proper posture, and graceful movement from this discipline. This class is mandatory for students enrolled in Inter Competitive Lyrical and Junior Pre-Competitive Jazz.

LOCATION
Drop off and pick up will be in the cafeteria.
Instructors will escort students to and from their class location.

DATES
Friday, September 12th, 2025 to Friday, June 19th, 2026
Time: 3:45 PM - 5:00 PM
Please note, classes follow the school calendar, so there will be no classes on days that school is not in session.

COST
Total Program Cost: $578

(All Credit Card payments will be subject to a 4% Convenience Fee)
Payment Due Dates:

• First half due upon registration

ATTIRE
Students should come to this class in proper ballet attire. 

• Ballet (girls): Bodysuit and ballet pink tights, ballet slippers, hair in a bun
• Ballet (boys): White t-shirt, clean black leggings or shorts, white or black ballet slippers

FOOTWEAR
Required footwear for ballet is pink ballet slippers for girls, white or black ballet slippers for boys.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please send your child with a full water bottle.
As this is a technique class, students will not be learning a routine to perform in the year-end performance but instead, they will practice exercises throughout the year to improve their technique. 

REGISTRATION
Registration opens May 1, 2025 at 8:00 AM and closes on October 5, 2025 at 11:55 PM or once the program is full. A waitlist is available at no cost.
