Theatre Twist: Drama & Improv

ABOUT
Our Theatre Twist:Drama & Improv is for students enrolled in Grades 3 - 5 at Pacific Academy for the 2025/2026 school year. Designed to foster creativity, teamwork, and self-expression, this program provides young students with the opportunity to explore the world of theatre in a fun and engaging way. Throughout the course, students will: participate in theatre games to enhance imagination, focus, and collaboration; learn essential acting techniques including voice control, body movement, and stage presence; explore improvisation and storytelling, developing their ability to think on their feet; build confidence as they perform in front of others in a supportive environment; and develop strong communication skills and making new friends along the way. This program is perfect for children who enjoy being creative, love to perform, or are looking to try something new. No prior acting experience is necessary - just a positive attitude and a willingness to have fun!

Drop off and pick up will be in the cafeteria.
Instructors will escort students to and from their class location.

Time: 2:55 PM - 4:25 PM
Please note, classes follow the school calendar, so there will be no classes on days that school is not in session.

ATTIRE
Students should remain in their uniform for this class.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Children will be given a small snack at the start of their program. Please ensure all allergies are listed and provide us with up-to-date information. 
To celebrate student learning and work throughout the year, students will be invited to participate in a year-end performance. A dress rehearsal will be held in the week leading up to the performance. More details will be given closer to the date.

REGISTRATION
Registration opens May 1, 2025 at 8:00 AM and closes on October 6, 2025 at 11:55 PM or once the program is full. A waitlist is available at no cost.
