Computer Arts (Grades 5-12)

ABOUT
Computer Arts is for students enrolled in Grades 5 - 12 at Pacific Academy for the 2026/2027 school year. This program introduces students to the exciting world of digital creativity, including graphic design, web design, and game design. Students will explore beginner to more advanced skills using a variety of industry-standard tools while learning what it is like to work in the design field.

Throughout the program, students will create their own digital projects such as graphic designs, website mockups, and simple game concepts that can be showcased on their personal devices. This course encourages creativity, problem-solving, and confidence with technology in a fun and engaging environment. No previous experience is required.

LOCATION
Students in Grade 5 will meet at the cafeteria at 2:15 PM to enjoy a snack before being brought to their class location. Students in Grades 6 - 12 will make their way to the assigned classroom location at the start of the program time.
Pick up will be at the designated classroom location promptly when class finishes.

Friday, September 11th, 2026 to June 18th, 2027
Time: 2:15 PM - 4:15 PM
Please note, classes follow the school calendar, so there will be no classes on days that school is not in session.

ATTIRE
Students will remain in their uniform for the duration of the program. A personal laptop is required for this course.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Students will be provided with a small snack at the start of each session. Please ensure all allergies are listed and that information is kept up to date.

REGISTRATION
Registration opens May. 4th, 2026 at 8:00 AM and closes on October. 5th, 2026 at 11:55 PM. A waitlist is available at no cost.
