Digital Masterpieces with Procreate

ABOUT
The Digital Masterpieces with Procreate art class is for students enrolled in Grade 6 - 12 at Pacific Academy for the 2026/2027 school year. In this hands-on course, students will learn how to set up and customize their digital workspace, build confidence with essential tools, and bring their drawings to life! The class takes students through the full creative journey - from sketching and brainstorming to developing a final illustration ready for print. Along the way, they'll explore key art concepts such as composition, colour, and textures, while learning to mimic traditional art styles, add simple drawing animation, and adapt their artwork into products like stickers or posters. By the end of the course, students will have gained practical digital art skills and completed a product-ready piece they can proudly share or develop further.

Drop off and pick up will be in the cafeteria.
Instructors will escort students to and from their class location.

Wednesday, September 9th, 2026 to Wednesday, June 16th, 2027.
Time: 3:15 PM - 5:15 PM
Please note, classes follow the school calendar, so there will be no classes on days that school is not in session.

ATTIRE
As this class runs immediately after school students should remain in their school uniform.

SUPPLIES
Students will need an iPad & stylus with access to the procreate app, including some paid features. 

Any special or extraneous material will be provided by the instructor.

Students will be given a small snack at the start of their program. Please ensure all allergies are listed and provide us with up-to-date information.

REGISTRATION
Registration opens on May 1, 2026 at 8:00 AM and closes on October 5, 2026 at 11:55 PM or once the program is full. A waitlist is available at no cost.
