Junior Jazz

ABOUT
Our Junior Jazz class is for students enrolled in Kindergarten - Grade 2 at Pacific Academy for the 2026/2027 School Year. Jazz is a popular choice for fun and upbeat music with a creative style. Jazz offers students a focus on rhythm, balance, co-ordination, posture, and musicality. Each class includes a warm-up, stretching, core strengthening, and combinations across the floor - including jumps, turns, and unique moves. Junior Jazz will finish the year with a choreographed year end routine. 

INSTRUCTOR
Miss Victoria Stewart

LOCATION
Students will be picked up by a staff member from their K-2 classroom after school and brought to the dance studio.
Pick up will be at the cafeteria promptly when class finishes.

Wednesday,  September 9th, 2025 to Wednesday, June 23rd, 2026
Time: 2:55 PM - 4:25 PM
Please note, classes follow the school calendar, so there will be no classes on days that school is not in session.

Total Program Cost: $745

ATTIRE
As this class runs immediately after school students may remain in their school uniform, however, appropriate footwear will need to be worn. For children with long hair, please have this pulled back off the face.

FOOTWEAR
Required footwear for Jazz is black jazz shoes.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Children will be given a small snack at the start of their program. Please ensure all allergies are listed and provide us with up-to-date information.
To celebrate student learning and work throughout the year, students will be invited to participate in a year-end performance. A dress rehearsal will be held in the week before the performance. More details will be given closer to the date.

REGISTRATION
Registration opens on August 1st at 8:00 AM and closes on October 5, 2026 at 11:55 PM or once the program is full. A waitlist is available at no cost.
