STEM Discovery (Grade K-3)

ABOUT
Our STEM Discovery class is for students enrolled in Grades K–3 at Pacific Academy for the 2026/2027 school year. Students will explore the exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math through hands-on activities and creative challenges. Students will build structures, experiment with simple circuits, explore early coding concepts through screen-free activities, and solve real-world engineering problems. Students will use creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to discover how things work while developing confidence as young innovators. 

INSTRUCTOR
Miss Sophia Jones

LOCATION
Students in Grades K-2 will be picked up by a staff member from their classroom after school and brought to the cafeteria.
Students in Grade 3will walk over to the cafeteria after school.
Drop off and pick up will be in the cafeteria.
Instructors will escort students to and from their class location.

Monday, September 10th, 2026 to Friday, June 23rd, 2027
Time: 2:55 PM - 4:25 PM
Please note, classes follow the school calendar, so there will be no classes on days that school is not in session.

ATTIRE
As this class runs immediately after school students may remain in their school uniform.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Children will be given a small snack at the start of their program. Please ensure all allergies are listed and provide us with up-to-date information. 

REGISTRATION
Registration opens on August 11th, 2026 at 8:00 AM and closes on October 5, 2026 at 11:55 PM or once the program is full. A waitlist is available at no cost.
