Tiny Tumblers (JK4 - Grade 2)

ABOUT
Tiny Tumblers is for students enrolled in Junior Kindergarten 4  - Grade 2 at Pacific Academy for the 2026/2027 school year. Tiny Tumblers is a movement-based program designed to introduce young children to the foundations of gymnastics through fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate floor-tumbling activities. Students will explore skills such as rolls, balances, jumps, shapes, and beginner progressions that build coordination, strength, flexibility, and confidence.

This program focuses on step-by-step progressions that help children learn basic tumbling and gymnastics skills while celebrating effort, growth, and body awareness. Each week, students will participate in structured skill-building circuits, cooperative games, and guided practice that support physical literacy and a love for movement.

LOCATION
Students will be picked up by a staff member from their JK4-2 classroom after school and brought to the cafeteria.
Pick up will be at the cafeteria promptly when class finishes.

Monday, September 14th, 2026 to Monday, June 21st, 2027
Time: 2:55 PM - 4:25 PM
Please note, classes follow the school calendar, so there will be no classes on days that school is not in session.

ATTIRE
As this class runs immediately after school students may remain in their school uniform, but gym strip is strongly encouraged. In addition, appropriate footwear will need to be worn.. For children with long hair, please have this pulled back off the face.

FOOTWEAR
Required footwear for Tiny Tumblers will be non-marking indoor runners.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Children will be given a small snack at the start of their program. Please ensure all allergies are listed and provide us with up-to-date information. 

REGISTRATION
Registration opens on June 15, 2026 at 8:00 AM and closes on October 5, 2026 at 11:55 PM or once the program is full. A waitlist is available at no cost.
