Praise in Motion - Lyrical and Contemporary Dance (Grade 3 - 5)

Throughout the week students will get the chance to dive into the fluidity and expressiveness of contemporary dance, learning techniques that blend strength and grace. Participants will discover the art of lyrical dance, where every movement tells a story. From emotive gestures to flowing transitions, we'll explore the power of dance as a form of personal expression. As a class we will be doing choreography sessions, where young dancers will have the opportunity to create their own dance sequences. Encouraging creativity and teamwork, this experience will empower them to become choreographers! Fostering a sense of joy and connection, dance-themed games will be integrated throughout the week to enhance coordination and teamwork. A large focus and goal is to infuse dance with spirituality, exploring how movement can be a form of worship and self-discovery. Our camp embraces a positive and inclusive environment, welcoming children from all backgrounds. No experience necessary.
